About Me

My Approach

I work in a Person-Centred approach, which means offering and holding a space of understanding, acceptance and authenticity, that is ultimately led by you. It's an approach that I feel attuned to due to it’s philosophy, its attempts to address power and how it can facilitate people in their process and journey of change, whatever that may be. I am interested in the complex feelings of mixed heritage being born into a family with a background of different nationalities.

My Services

I offer online sessions that are 50 minutes long and are £50 per session. They can be flexible to people's needs and schedules, using a free online confidential platform.  My aim is to create a safe environment for you to be able to explore any thing in your life, no matter how challenging that may be. I can work with a range of issues from depression and anxiety, through to trauma. My sense of empathy, professionalism, ethics are key to holding a space for you to grow.

My Experience

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and am trained to a post-graduate diploma level in counselling. I have experience as a counsellor with a variety of people, organisations and charities such as Mind and The Norwich Centre, UK which included project work with university students. Along side working privately, I currently work as a Youth Counsellor with young people from the ages of 14-25 as part of an NHS contract in the UK. Additionally I have years of experience in support work with charitable organisations. This has included group facilitation such as Men’s Groups.

My Journey

My Journey

My journey to become a counsellor came from feeling as if I had various aspects of my life that needed to change and ultimately a want to help others in a way that fit in with my ethos. That led me to learn about the person-centred approach, of which I trained in Norwich, UK. A city I have lived in for the majority of my life, although I have studied Social Anthropology at the University of Manchester

My Journey

My Journey

Having lived in different countries and having an international family, diversity and inclusion is something I feel strongly about. I also have a passion for movement and art forms, in particular I have been teaching Capoeira to adults and kids for years, exploring the complex heritage of this Brazilian art through movement, music and culture. Beyond that I am a Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend.
